PW Detox is a self-control support service that prevents you from viewing your own passwords for a set period of time.

By making it difficult to log in to games and social media, it helps you create an opportunity to step back.

You can use this as one self-control tool for those moments when you think, “I don’t want to quit, but I need a break right now.”

Standard use is free. You can also set your own conditions for checking your passwords during the restricted period.

How to Use

  1. Generate a strong password within the service and set the duration for which you want to lock it away. (You can also lock away any text of your choice, not just a password.)
  2. Set the registered password for your game or social media account and log out.
  3. Once the set period has passed, you will be able to view your password on PW Detox.

Early unlock (paid) is currently under development.

If you do not set a fee, you will not be able to view the password until the expiration date passes.
